Come celebrate Valentine’s Day with the Brad Colerick Band. Colerick is a seasoned singer-songwriter and storyteller whose albums land squarely in the Americana wheelhouse with guest appearances from Chris Hillman, Suzy Bogguss, Kenny Edwards, Dan Navarro, and April Verch. He’ll be joined by his Colorado-based band — Ron Lynam on banjo, fiddle, and Dobro; Julie Lynam on bass; and Tim Gauthier on mandolin and electric guitar. A native of Valentine, Nebraska — aka Heart City, USA — so this is a big-time holiday for Brad. It’s a matinee show with a short break to sample some delightful dark chocolate and listen to a short talk about it from Dr. Lee Theisen (the “choc doc”), who teaches history, economics, and the science of chocolate at UCLA.
